About the Implementation of “Invitational Education” (IE)
Dear Parents,
Our school has joined the "International Alliance for Invitational Education” (IAIE) as a member, and has adopted the key concepts of Invitational Education (IE) into our school development Focus Projects. We work towards the goals of IAIE which emphasize on the beliefs of Intentionality, Respect, Care, Trust and Optimism, to foster a caring environment and help children develop a positive value of life and their potential.
Our school theme last year “Live Out Love” and the free play activities organized, are one of the intended policies and programs of the school, through the interacting processes with our teachers (people), our students are being shaped and inspired in school. I.E believes, people are capable, valuable and responsible; and the processes and results of education are equally important for the growth of children.
5 Fundamental Beliefs
Care
✽All decision-making policies are based on the needs of young children.
✽Create a caring environment and learning atmosphere.
Respect
✽Respect for young children's abilities, values and creative thinking.
✽Provide them with opportunities to learn and to explore knowledge.
Trust
✽Trust young children have the ability to explore knowledge.
✽Give them the opportunities to self-study, communicate and cooperate.
Optimism
✽Cultivate young children a positive attitude.
✽Courage to face difficulties.
We hope we can join hands with parents to make effort together for building a proactive and positive value orientation for the students.
